The first of a set of three drawings done by KojaDraws on Tumblr, who was very patient as we nailed down colors and particulars for the outfit! I was rather picky, and at times was at a loss for how to shift; with Koja's help, both in his own ideas and in his editing suggestions, Chaiae came out exactly as she was imagined!

All about contrasts and some expectation subversion, she's a Cheshire nekomimi; lacking the stereotypical 'insanity' that many see cheshires to have. Her top's torn from a flowing, elegant dress, bottoms are relaxed casual cargos. Dark clothes to contrast her pale skin, and hours were spent refining her hair color (and tail secondary color)! The challenge between long and short hair was real, though.

She initially started out as a bit of a joke, a challenge to make a neko that wasn't just another catgirl screaming "NYA" every five seconds, constantly in a maid outfit, ridiculously busty... basically an attempt to break the mold on the stereotypical Neko. She quickly turned into a bit of a pet project, then a full-fledged character, and she's adored! I put so much love and effort into her, Just like R'hia, so it's awesome to finally have some art for her.

Also, she IS a herm, there's the faintest bulge of something soft down there...
