There's this certain a lynx in my life..
I wake him up every morning with Starbucks and a treat,
with the same bright shining smile on my face..
When he's feeling at his absolute lowest,
I breathe the life back into him,
and reminds him that he's okay.
He's going to get through this.
When he shuts down,
I never leave me alone,
I make sure he knows he isn't out of arms reach,
in case he needs someone to hold onto and just let it out.
He's been a wonderful friend.
I don't want to imagine life without my morning starbucks and smiles.
