couldn´t finish the current request pic today, but to have something to post, I show you the B&W version.
Fortunately, my client asked me to post this version too, as I now have seen in my notes inbox^^
the colored version will follow on the next few days^^;

thanks very much. *bows deeply*
this is probably one of the most detailed requests I received so far, but it also hels me to improve my skills in composition.
In this case I had a certain screenshot of the background meaning this room here, but at the same time I needed to add a window to fit into the scenario of the pic, to make it logical on screen. But at the same time I had to redesign the room and its architecture.
There had been 3 different options on how to deal with the issue of this composition, each one had advantages and disadvantages, but I guess that I managed to please the client.
Now it still needs to be colored.
I actually would like to ask my mother to color it, because it needs a certain flair, but she is busy with an own project, so this option is not really given.
In other words i need to squeeze my own humble coloring skills again^^;

Omg, Eternal, I'm stunned by your attention to detail on this piece! Thank you so much for your effort, the result has more than exceeded my expectations. You are truly amazing, you know that? I also think I have a good idea for a story for this pic, so stay tuned. BTW, could you please provide the translation of the warlock's little speech? : )
I love how my reaction is....well...I don't love it cause its not fun but its just looking at it from outside, but, I love how my reaction to skulls and anything animal related being dead and kept around always says to me "BAD THINGS ARE HERE! BAD BAD BAD THINGS! DEATH IS LURKING AROUND HERE EVEN MORE SO!" so to keep it short and possibly less hilarious, I'm super sensitive or overly sensitive to anything like a skull of any creature laying about.
This picture does not make me afraid. I probably will never know why I have such fear when I see that stuff lying about. I guess its because I'm more in-tune with animals and nature.
Also for some reason I thought the carpet was a Mimic for some reason....until my eyes finally processed the skull and I was like..."Oh...its not a mimic....I'm an idiot." 6v9

that´s only natural. Skulls and skelletons allways remind us of our own mortality and that everything will come to an end one day, before something else will start anew...
memento mori as the romans would say - be aware of your death.
hehe yeah the details will come out more sharply when the colors are applied to the pic^^

I'm aware of mortality, and have grown use to it, its just more so like..."I fear what I can't see was the cause of these skulls."
The worst fear is when you absolutely can't see your enemy, or rather detect anything from them but what they choose to give you.
Also go for it when you want and have time to do it! No rush! >v<
I will never know why I like Mimics and Like Likes. Did you know there are very sentient Mimics that like to give out information in exchange for a requested item or task? Those mimics are awesome! I'd definitely keep one around for stories! Just don't want to be put in one and then sent off into a weird void and die.
Though if I did....I'm sure those mimics will try something on me...much like everyone does with you.

This is already looking very impressive and I imagine has taken a lot of hard to get to this point, with the sheer amount of detail you've put into the background. Hopefully what you've learnt here will be of help with improving your skills with composition and also give you confidence if you're working on your own ideas which might involve a complicated background. I do have many fond memories of playing Oblivion before Skyrim came along, so I recognise the setting and commend you on your fine job with recreating it. You also draw very nice looking Khajiit's and Argonians.
Obviously we'll have the full background information with the finished request once you've got the colouring completed, though this could stand on it's own just as well as any other of your black and white pieces in terms of artwork. I'll look forward to that and will have a comment on that, though for now it's fun to imagine a backstory for the piece, which I did have one idea.
I remember in the Thieves Guild quest line for Oblivion their was a hapless Argonian thief named Amusei whom had little look in qualifying, so I'm imagining that the bound Argonian could perhaps be him and the Khajiit a rookie thief, whom had a mission to break into the Mages Guild to steal something and gotten Amusei to assist him. Sneaking in Oblivion usually required you to remove your boots for silent movement, so our thieves had gone barefoot for purposes of stealth but still being novices got themselves caught by the Argonian mage. Fortunately they were quite skilled with pleading and the mage was a merciful if mischievous fellow, so he agreed to not hand them over to the guards but he was still going to give them a suitable punishment but not a painful one. So they're facing some magical bondage, and a rather ticklish torture that will last for quite a while, but he'll set them free eventually.
