Just finished watching Princess Mononoke with some friends and felt like giving Yakul some love. In the movie, he's called a Red Elk, a fictional animal belonging to the tribe of the main character, not so much resembling elk, but still an ungulate, and with horns instead of antlers.
He looks pretty derpy, but I am sleepy, and he's still cute to me!
