as she got older Saphira grew wiser her older more bloodthirsty ways during the old war. her arrogant nature gave way to humility, still holding her honer high  she has grown to be one of the most skilled worriers and craftiest commander in the 7 dragon realms... don't let her age  be taken lightly she is old for a reason the title of elder dragon is not given easily  

the draconic inscription on the blade both adds its magical properties and bares the swords name which translates to common as "storms flame"
