Originally uploaded in 2012, I took this art down for a few reasons, including misunderstandings of pay (as in it never happened), as well as a few other things. I upload again, and hope you enjoy. I spent a lot of effort painting this and while I still enjoy how it looks, this isn't really supposed to be visible.

Wow, I love the perspective work and how well the ball looks shiny and partly reflective. Naturally I love the paw-theme too - quite a lot of us would love to exchange our muzzles for that ball.
That's unfortunate about the original issues about it's creation. At least now, a few years later, it can be posted to be enjoyed and show case all the skill it took to create.

I may yet take this down again. I like the paws, but everything about this makes me think about how with no firm clear words nor agreement on pay I ended up spending tens of hours on an effort that went not just unpaid, but unappreciated by-- the person who commissioned me, who I found out later on was a deceiver and continual liar. Which sucks, mostly because I was too happy and yay to know I was getting suckered. I dunno. I like all the effort I put in in lighting this.
Another way to look at is is that this beautiful pic represents a lesson learned about all the above. That despite all that, it still ended up as a picture that people can smile and enjoy. Those two facts make it bigger and better on two amazing fronts. Don't look at it so much for what it was, but what it's taught and is now.
