Had an idea for a childrens book/comic the other day. The heroine is a sweet, plesant smart little girl that livs in a small town. One day while playing in the forest she saves a gnome from a cat. The gartefull gnome grants her a wish. Dissatisfied with her short for her age stature she wishes to be a different size. The gnome missunderstands her wish and so she keeps on changing her size at random. At first it happens at random, but as the story continiues she gains control over her new power. She can get really tiny, smaller than an ant and can grow bigger than the planet. Oh and OF COURSE her clothes grow and shrink with her! I think I will call her Sophie. She kinda looks like a Sophie to me, don´t you think?

I think the idea has some merit and potential to it. Perhaps something along the lines of Ronald Dahl levels of plots and misadventure while she comes to terms to her powers, likely a series of experiences which can culminate in one big finale (literal or figurative, given the size changing aspect), and she does have a cute design.
