I have to assume this is intended as good natured humor (but this IS the Furry Fandom, so thus the initial confusion). If that is indeed correct, good for you, I'm too polite myself to retaliate at those trying to exploit generosity and the Fandom is sadly notorious for doing that to us artists.
Yeah it was entirely a joke. I am working on making a commission template for references, and the topic of me making my own refs for free (since I draw my own refs for my own characters) made people ask for one themselves as a joke. So here we are. It was funny enough for me to want to make them a thing themselves.
Ironically, though intended as a joke, now I do feel compelled to commission a silly doodle like these from you; would be very fitting for some of my characters. Could that possibly be an addition to a normal commission that for a small additional charge, a silly doodle of the character is offered too?
