And ancient legend about a creature made to be unstoppable: Loretto's Homunculus.

Lore:

Loretto Zuerst, Kloh's father, was an exceptional alchemist who worked for the 2nd King of Landseval. His job was perfect and his skills were something to make others to feel jealous, making him the first of the 3 masterminds of the Kingdom.
The 2nd King, Javara The Lustyblood, was a big fan of the art of slaughtering and fights only for pleasure, so he created an Arena (which no longer exists)... But he soon realized that it wasn't enough...
The people forced to fight each other, fathers and children, friends, even lovers didn't last more than just a few seconds (cause some extreme rules about the fights), so he spoke with Loretto about if he could make a "thing" that can last at least 1 hour on the battlefield...

Loretto, with ambition and vision, worked hard, day and night, day after day, week after week, only to feed the Kings's desire...
But it wasn't good enough...

The things that the alchemist created were just empy shells, void with skin that just crumbles only trying to walk or even worst. So, he searched even beyond the rules of knowledge and found a creppy red/black book known as "Shelavan Affada Mur", "The Art of reanimated bodies"...
He followed every single instructions to build the perfect body, the strongest mind and the most fierce attitude, but those were to many things for just a human body.
"I'm so close... I can't stop now! I just need... A bigger vessel..."

He spoke with the Metal Lawers of Deep Reach Mines (inside Landseval) and bought enough metal to make a bigger thing, mixing it with human flesh and dead creatures' skin until he finally made it... A restless monster that will become the main attraction of the Arena of Landseval... but...
That thing was unstoppeable... The disgrace took so many lifes and so the life of the King...
Loretto was desperate, he didn't knew that something could go wrong, but it happend anyways...
"Shit! Shit! Shit! All my work... all my time spent in that thing were for nothing! Now they all gonna blame me and judge me for killing Javara... unless... no one discovers who made that creature..."
So Loretto started working again, to make a seal for that monster and took it really far far away from the continet, sealing the creature on an island that no one know besides him. Until now...

In the present day, Loretto is dead and only Kloh knows the secret about this creature... "Loretto's Homunculus", but even he don't know if that monster is still on that island... Or...
