Final version of the mask (at least as far as the painting job goes), this time with some highlights on the teeth and eyes. I completely removed the spring inside, as it fits well enough to my face that I can close the jaws without it.
Don't mind the lock, it was just a temporary thing to hold the strap in place. I'll probably go with elastic straps in the end, and make some padding inside so it's more comfy to wear.



It was supposed to be a dragon thingie, but now I just like to think it's a sharkdog.

-Yes, I can actually see with the little holes.
-It's a resin cast I applied metal powder to. It actually looks like old metal, but the video quality (or lack of) completely destroys the effect.
-It was made from scratch, I worked with monster clay, made my own silicone mold of it and did a bunch of resin casts to try different painting effects on it.
-I'm not planning to add fur or anything, I just wanted it to have a weird rusty torture device-ish feel.
-I'm working on a costume to go with it as well. It's a new character I've been willing to make for some time now.
-I'm holding my forehead because I haven't made any strap to hold it over my face yet.
