"A sentient fungus which absorbs dirt and decay through it's slimy, porous underbelly. It is afraid of the light and loves rainy days. It emanates a rich, earthy smell. Some mushrooms are edible, though others may be poisonous. It likes cuddling in particular, but usually has to settle for a pat on its bony head."
