For some odd reason the car "Bandit" is driving reminds me of those old "SSP" racers toy cars. I think his has better steering though.

It is actually a small toy, yes. All the vehicles in Bandit are small toys, some Matchbox, some Mattel or Maisto, some just off the wall cheapies. The tricicle dragster looked cool as a getaway car.
