As someone who has skied, there's one problem with the shin-skis as drawn: The "control points" are too far forward, first little mount and he'll be thrown up and forward into a faceplant.
Unless, of course, the tops of his shins are extendable, and his shin fronts can flatten out and form nice sharp edges on the sides to carve intro the snow.
Or I may just be overthinking this and should start reciting the MST3K mantra.

Considering how fun some of those Halloween forms look, it's surprising that so many people would be in such a hurry to give them back immediately just because the holiday is over!
