*shudders* I just saw a video compilation by him. Nick is either very brave or very stupid to have dabbled in some of the forces he has. I just hope he was thorough enough, when he worked his exorcism, because if his theory was right, then that spirit is going to be very, very pissed off at him. Then again, a spirit can only have as much power as its host will give it, so, in theory, Nick should be fine. Still. That video. *shudders again*
I wanted to, but I'd already gone over the general word count I'd set and spent most of the day working on it, and another scene with the explanation would likely have added another several hundred words. As for whether he counts as a werecat, I'm fairly certain that he'll be a proper familiar, though magic may give him the power to shift between forms at will, should he agree to the position, once his hostess explains to him. And I do intend to show what happened to previous familiars, eventually, since the commissioner has expressed interest in me doing a sequel/second part.
