There were many parts of the Sanctuary now that had groups of cats all roaming about freely. Some people were getting frightened and vacating the premise. Not many knew that many of these cats were people, nor did they know they were docile enough that they would not mind humans all that much. Sadly, they were missing out on the full experience. No one was having more fun than the ones who got caught by the Wandering Witch and her cats, being turned into such playful animals as well.
One particularly playful lioness was all alone in the lioness enclosure. She had a unusual collar on her, that it might've belonged to another person. It did, in fact, belong to a rather bossy christian, but only the Wandering Witch knew that. It wasn't important to tell Stephanie who the lioness used to be. The fidgeting troublemaker had heard all about how tame the cats were and, being such a huge cat-lover, was wanting to play with it.
“I would go for it!” The Wandering Witch said. “I've put lots of money into getting the tamest, friendliest cats out there for people to interact with. And that lioness out there looks so lonely. She needs some company.”
“I know. And, you know, you're the one backing this place. If you're okay with it...” And that was when she jumped over the cage fence, running over to the cat and beginning to give it all kinds of loving. The lioness seemed largely unresponsive though. How could it be so down in the dumps, though?
“She's been very lonely without a pride,” The Wandering Witch said. “She needs a good strong male to help make a new one. But I don't see any males here. All I see are silly girls...but they could be the lions this one so desperately needs...”
“Yeah, I could...” Stephanie said with a mild chuff. “Could I...?”
“Be a lion?” The Wandering Witch chuckled. “Only if you want it...”
Stephanie wasn't sure what the Witch was talking about but she wasn't going to give up on this lonely girl. She'd show her how to get a pride going, just by how swollen her hands were getting. Then her tufted tail burst out from behind, and she she showed it off proudly. Soon her mane was coming in and she was getting better and roaring with her stretching maw.
“Be the lion,” Stephanie whispered to herself. “I have to be the lion...”
To say that would cement her as being a boy, not a girl. This seemed to be a sacrifice she was willing to accept as her chest flattened and something pushed inbetween her legs. Everything on her was getting constricting. She could only moan in annoyance between her blackened lips as cuffs of fur appeared between the shredding.
The Witch laughed as the girl's hindpaws burst from her shoes, the rest of her frame tightening against her clothes. Clapping in applause, she says. “Oh, yes, my dear...you truly have it in you. You are, indeed, a lion...”
Stephanie, now Stephen, fell forward to all fours and roared in release as his clothes exploded off him. And with him, the lioness joined in his roar. Pleased with the lioness becoming more active, the two exchanged scents as he looked at the Wandering Witch.
“Yes...and there are others out there that need to be lions. Our pride must grow. I will find them wherever I can, Mistress!”
With that, he and the submissive cat ran off into the brush behind. The Wandering Witch couldn't wait to see who they found to add to their numbers. This was turning out to be a beautiful day for her!
