The Dragon Quest franchise has such Charming enemies. I... Actually don't have a lot of fun playing most Dragon Quest games because the monsters are more likeable and awesome than the heroes are, though that's true for most games, especially ones where the where the good guy roster consists entirely of humans. That's why Dragon Quest 5, Dragon Quest 8, and the Dragon Quest monster franchise are my favorites in the series because they let you be friend and battle alongside those cool monsters.

I agree, like I think sadly this is because heroes can't show much personality, because it's you so the hero need to be a blank as possible so the person can see themselves on them, for me this don't works pretty well and I just see the character as boring :T
Like of course not every game needs the main protagonist with some sort of personality, but in games that is to interact with others I prefer my character with already some sort of personality

Me, personally, I don't need to see myself as the main character. I'd rather the character be likeable by themselves. Now it is, a man character like that is hard to come by.

I really wish they would release a Dragon Quest Monsters game in the states. Still kind of pissed off at Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 didn't get released over here, and that one has one of my personal favorite monsters.

Me too, like if the game focused on story I prefer that my character had some kind of personality, like my main problem with the new pokémon games, like seeing your character with a blank face in face of doom is so bad that it even take me out of the game multiple times xP

I know isn't "right" but can't you download an english rom? I understand wanting to support or have the official game, but if isn't selling for your country I would say go for it.

Not unless I can get it burnt on a cartridge.

I understand playing handheld games on the pc is the worse, but look up flashcards for 3DS like Sky3ds, I remember this one is the best one, but look up on internet forums to be certain
