My dogs are too big to get into the clothes baskets, but the bed is a good target when the Hy00mins are trying to straighten out the sheets.

In other words, both. Somehow not surprised. That is why we put the clean laundry where kitties can't get into it, 'cause they tend to leave hairballs in the basket.

Probably because it has comfort smells, they recommend if you ever have to put them in a carrier in an emergency, put in a dirty shirt too. It’ll smell like you and help comfort her.
