Super old drawing I did for a planned webcomic back in 2005(ish?), versus... the same guy, but now in a totally different art style!

Why did I post this? Well, I've been meaning to dig up my old sketchpads (oh god, the horrid memories!) to see if there was anything worth redrawing, now that I'm doing art on a more regular basis. I'm also showing that, despite taking such a long gap, improvement -does- happen. It's still not perfect, as you can tell, but the difference in skill is -phenominal-, to say the least. You can still see pencil lines, sketch guides, etc. in the 2005 version, as well as the noticeable solid circles that make up the head and muzzle end, where the most recent one is all cleaned up nicely and the head looks a bit more natural.

So yes, to anyone who's watching me and wants to be an artist themselves, just keep practicing on a regular basis and you'll be just as good. It takes a lot of time and patience to hone art, but trust me, the end result is worth it. Hopefully a couple more years down the line I can have another improvement jump so I can compare it to these two now.

And who knows? If this post gains a bit of traction, I may do another redraw. Maybe.
