Usually you just end up talking to yourself cause the other person left the vicinity. But sometimes while they left, someone else took their place so someone besides yourself thinks you're crazy.
Happens to me all the time.
This particularly event happened when I was younger and grocery shopping with my father at the local Publix.
I didn't actually throw the apple at him though.
