Name: Carnival
Gender: Male
Species: Toyhound
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Relationship Status: Shipped with Eleanor https://www.deviantart.com/aaaaesth.....anor-682822132
Relations: N/A
Name Origin: The name was the name of the theme of the custom and I felt like it would make a nice name.
Personality: shy, curious; but once he knows you he gets really happy when he sees you!
Bio: Carnival's human is Charlie. Charlie's dad ran a circus, and he was close to becoming of age to taking over the business himself, as his father was getting older. He already helped his dad out with running it and he was sort of anxious but excited to run it himself. He often thought about what it would be like to own himself. He wondered if he should add new animals to the circus. One night he dreamed of a little helper. A little yellow creature, a little friend to keep him company. Sure enough, a few days later he found a little gerbil sized little creature, the same one he saw in a dream. He found him on the street, as the traveling circus went all over. Charlie slowly approached it, squatting down and putting out his hand. The little yellow creature could see the kindness in Charlie's eyes, and slowly came up to him. He pet him and picked him up, and he seemed to like Charlie. Charlie was associated with the circus, but he and his father treated all their animals with a lot of love and care, which you may not typically associate with a circus. They're a different kind of circus. All the animals were happy and well fed. And this little yellow fellow, which Charlie would soon name Carnival, was about to become a part of this. Carnival was pretty obedient and well behaved, so he didn't go in a cage. He was most often found on Charlie's shoulder. Carnival helped out with the circus work, got to travel around the country, and performed tricks in the circus himself. He really enjoyed this new life with Charlie.
Notes:
One eye open, one eye shut ALL THE TIME
Alternating colors on feet
Please study the anatomy before drawing him so he doesn't end up looking like a dog! He more resembles a mouse than a dog (though the species is called Toyhound)
The size of a gerbil (a small rodent, about the same size as a mouse or hamster)
Has a spring-like tail, can bounce to high heights
Tail is usually coiled up (but I usually draw it like it is in the ref)
Tail has 10 segments
Is plushy
Feet are SHORT
