Anthro peryton OC, Liiho. He's a very small peryton, around 4 feet tall, but he's full-grown. He has a similar background to Zunne and Fajima and friends. That being: he was kidnapped at a young age by traders, who would rent and sell people, usually for sexual acts. They tried to rent Liiho out for sex, but he was badly injured almost immediately, so to avoid having to deal with medical issues, they marked him as "modelling only". This means he was basically used as a promo boy, to look enticing and bring in people to buy and rent the other slaves.

Because he's a runt, he's physically and emotionally fragile. He's a bit of a pushover, and is very passive, and he bruises very easily. His wings are especially weak, and he can't fly. They're pretty much useless. So, all he did, day in and day out, was pose in front of a camera, and sometimes besides a speaker or advertiser. He was rarely allowed to speak unless spoken to, and was never given the opportunity to form opinions or relationships of his own. Like the other slaves, he was merely an object to the traders.

After Artemis bought him to rescue him from his lifestyle, Liiho learned to enjoy doing nothing but lay around and relax. There were no cameras, no orders, no cages. He befriended her hunting dogs, and often cuddles up with them, feeling quite safe with the well-trained canines. As he watches Candi and the others grow and learn how to love, he starts to get a strange sense of loneliness. He's not really sure what to do about it, and doesn't feel like he should speak up or demand attention, especially since he's been enjoying NOT getting loads of attention.

Liiho really enjoys the quiet life, and likes letting other people make decisions for him, the latter partly being because it's what he grew up with.


After meeting Alastor, he felt for the first time a slight urge to be risky. Alastor's dangerous aura frightened him, but he also feels a quiet, odd desire to get closer and learn more about this aggressive, murderous, outspoken stranger. Deep down, though he has trouble recognizing and acknowledging it, he wants to be pushed, and forced out of his comfort zone. A small part of him feels intrigued by the fear that resonates through him whenever he looks at Alastor.

He has a bad habit of shutting his wings tight and pressing them against his back when he feels scared or threatened, instead of using them to try to flee or look bigger. This comes from an intense, deep-rooted fear of his wings being ripped off, after he nearly experienced such a thing many years ago at the hands of a trader.

All in all, he's on the road to living a happy and fulfilling life like his fellow escapees.

I left the image unshaded so I can use it as a body reference in the future. I really truly appreciate Nataly giving me permission to use her lineart for Liiho, I'm still struggling with anthro anatomy and wings, and doing the outline on the wings and body after cropping helped me get a bit of a feel for the wings, and it helped me focus on Liiho's colors and markings, though I do feel like I made him look a bit empty and bland.
