Sketchbook 101: The King is Here
I'd like to know your thoughts, so comments and critiques are appreciated, it helps me to improve :3

Did this sketch in response to the announcement that King K. Rool was going to be included in the new Smash Bros. game. I was hoping to get this up last month when the news was fresh but unfortunately wasn’t able to post it until now.
Doing this also gave me a chance to draw pose like this that I have been wanting to do for quite a while, might not have come out like I intended (wanted the back arched a bit further back) but I ended up liking how it looked nonetheless. Also, I decided to keep him tailless because I figured that since he's a technically a Kremling and not a crocodile per say that he didn't need one...or I could have chosen to give him a tail and then completely forgot to draw it :p
In other news, I am so hyped for Smash Bros. Ultimate!

Glad to have gotten a chance to do so, also really glad you like it. I really thought that he looked more muscular than fat from references (with the exception of the gut) so that’s why I drew him like that :p
