Amazing? I can see the top, and bottom of the muslin backdrop. I can see the carpet, the pose is off, there is NO studio lighting, I can see the tape on the hotel carpet.
Almost all the shots I ever see from this supposed photo shoot are crap, I hope no one payed for any of these shots.
He's got the next step up from my camera and still can't pull off a shot without it being grainy, badly lit or even in focus.
It makes me sad to see people not even try, just throw a backdrop up and say "I'm a photographer now!!!"

The friend of mine that did take the pictures indeed did it for free and is indeed a professional photographer. He volunteered his time to do this for the suiters for no charge. There was no space for the actual area since it was in the headless lounge and there were lights he even had a wireless trigger to activate them. All these pictures were done quick he had a long ass line.

I dont really care about the surroundings of the image, its a fucking picture of me and thats all that should matter. theres no art in this thus the lack to comply with typical fancy photography bullshit.

If you think this guy is AMAZING then fiiiiine, but a professional photographer would have been able to frame this shot correctly, if he's going to set up a backdrop and tape, don't you think he should know how to use his equipment?
Ask any photographer, amateur or otherwise, any picture worth setting up for, is worth doing right.
NONE of these shots were done right. So what he has a 20$ wireless trigger, I find them unreliable and use the wired version.
It makes me sad because none of the poses are good, even for a simple quick point and shoot tourist shot.
Ya got a 35$ sprayed muslin backdrop what, stapled to the wall, I can see the edges of it defeating the purpose of the background completely, The floor is visible and there is position tape... First off, the tape, fursuiters can barley see that shit on the floor, so you have to tell them where to stand anyway, secondly if OMG he uses a wireless trigger for the lights, why, if hes on a fixed tripod with tape on the floor so nothing really moves around.
There are far too many furries claiming to be photographers out there, and people flock to them, there was one nude photographer that was a greasy creapy guy who asked all the female furs to do nude shoots at his house, all he had was a camera, stapled blankets to the wall and made them take off their clothes and let him paint them animal markings... Kinda sketchy and weird, but people said OOoOoh hes such a good photographer. That made me sick, This makes me sad, simply because its not a professional photographer its what we in the industry call a GWC (Guy With Camera) I have some photos in my gallery from my studio, MY STUDIO, an actual space I rent in a commercial building, with my photo studio in it. I shoot furry, leather, and other fetish photography, I started as a photographer for a portrait studio taking family shots and weddings, I lost interest fast because it was the same thing over and over, no creativity.
I've been making money as a professional photographer for over 12 years, and have owned my own studio for 4 years.
You don't have to be artsy fartsy, but you DO at LEAST have to know what the hell you're doing with your own equipment.
You took this as some kind of attack on YOU, as most murr purr furriez do, then you resorted to threats and stupid name calling, but I can expect that from furries because most of them have the social skills of a retarded 4 year old child, thank you for proving that theory correct.

This wasn't about you, it was about a shitty photo that needed to be pointed out because obviously "the great" Chaos failed to even crop out the damn background issues.
If this image were cropped, lighted correctly, aligned right, and not grainy, and had some kind of pose that showed off the suit better, and maaaaybe if not too much trouble, straightened the tie and shirt a bit, then maybe people wouldn't have criticizing comments.
