Experimenting with a new way of coloring/inking here.
I just penciled out a sketch, and did the rest in Photoshop- this is a first run, so its not perfect, but I would really like to know how you guys, as a whole, feel about the new process. Ill be tossing a few more practices up over the next few days using this method.

White_monarch Your tablet is awesome! My hand doesn't hurt after using it, the pressure is perfect, and it even works in Sai. I must have a Bamboo tablet.
*yesh, a few things are off, like the sword. Decided to just keep coloring, rather then nitpick, to get the general feeling for what I'm trying to do here. . .

I think it good. You should play with it more. Since you can get a lot more depth with pensils what about keeping areas of lighter colors lightly drawn in, like Lukas ears, where as darkening the line of darker areas, such as Lukas legs. The same could be done for Sirus as well.
Over all though not bad, and the role reversal thing is kinda funny, although I figured Sirus would be more of a priest or something. Still, farming is fun, lol.

I'm glad you're liking the Tablet. I find it's pretty comfortable for long sessions. - when I get around to working with it. This is a long way from when I saw it the other day. I like it a lot more now that it's finished. It's definitly a bit different from your normal coloring style, but I think it flows really well and I like the way you can/have soften(ed) it up.
