No, he's not related to Tails of Sonic fame. He's a kitsune that got his current name from his profencency in swords and A friend that noted he looked like the famous two-tailed fox. Like the samurai he grew up watchign he's had many names in his life.

This is him during some of the more darker times in his life, which I am currently working on a Story about his life. Which is being a pain in the ass, due to the amount of reseach involved to make his early life in japan historicly plausible. If anyone that's knowledgeable about Samurai and the Late Edo/early Meiji era wishes to offer help, I'd welcome the help.

This was drawn several years ago one of my favorite artists  rancid and had through it was lost due to an old hard drive crash. I recently rediscovered it among a bunch of CDR that weren't labeled.
