A follow-up to my token Rouge art. I was never much of a Sonic fan. I played Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on my Genesis like mad when it came out, and that and Streets of Rage 2 were the only games I owned for it for the longest time. But that was the only thought I gave to Sonic.
Until years later when I was waiting in a dentist's office. I was bored and reading through a copy of Entertainment Weekly they had there. There was an article about a Parent's Guide to Children's Television or some such. Basically they reviewed popular kids' shows at the time, like Barney, Power Rangers, and the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon.
It said (I'm paraphrasing but not by much) "We cannot endorse this cartoon for children of any age. It is dark, gloomy, violent, and features as a main character a squirrel with prominent cleavage". I thought, damn, I gotta check this out!
As it turns out the squirrel was pretty flat, but the bunny on the other hand, va-VOOM! So in light of that here's my rendition of Bunnie Rabbot, who I always thought was cuter than Rouge anyway.

"A Squirrel with prominent Cleaveage?" I guess they were referring to Princess Sally. (Funny they didn't mention the fact she never wore pants.) I must confess that I rather enjoyed the Sonic "Knothole" cartoons from the early 1990s. They actually were well animated and had good stories too.
