It's actually a detail that's come up with my cast a few times- as deities, it's mostly about either changing how light works or just appearing directly to people without bothering to deal with the entire 'sight' thing at all. Sometimes the lesser deities will forget about it while going huge and end up arriving at places before people see them start to approach, but Karin's the sort who'd have triple-triple-octuple checked that everything was made as convenient, safe, and simple for everyone twice over beforehand.

Ah gosh thank you! <3 Flangies told me about this, it came out absolutely adorable as heck! Karin is basically the world's (er, well, all worlds') biggest happiest lovingest fluffpuppy, and you've done a wonderful job of capturing that in your style here. She does always love to take time to greet friends, no matter how far away they might be at the time, and eeeee midground celestial objects are wonderful <3 Knowing Flangies I'm sure he was delighted by the view, as well!

Unluckily this is only a patreon sketch or I would've tried to experiment with some more atmospheric effects to make the distance and scale even more palpable X3; But as it is, I'm glad of how it came out and even happier that you liked it! She was a very fun character to draw! :3
