No, “Pudgezilla” is not the official name for this species. I'm still thinking of a name for them and it's taking me awhile so I just call them Pudgezillas at the moment. If anyone has any name suggestions I'd love to hear them.
Now for the wall of text (in before “TL;DR”):
Pudgezillas are a sentient race of demons that belong in the same universe that Makhlab is in. They look rather defenseless and squishy, but that long “tail” on the back of their heads can reach into the bodies of other living things and pull out their souls/life energy. The tail phases in and out of the physical world and it’s impossible to escape its grasp once it has latched “into” you. (With the soul/life energy removed the body becomes a brain dead shell.) They can also detect the living things around them, so it’s next to impossible to sneak up on them.
Because of this soul grabbing ability Pudgezillas are extremely overpowered, as they can take down living things that would be considered invulnerable otherwise. This gives the weaker, scavenging demons/creatures a better chance at survival by providing them food (and possibly strengthens the gene pool of the stronger demons/creatures by killing off the stupider individuals.) All in all, Pudgzillas are considered serious business and it’s best to avoid them (which is rather sad as not all of them are unlikeable, some are rather lonely…)
Though Pudgezilla can eat meat they prefer the souls they take from their victims. They can store many souls in their bodies and can feed off them over a long period of time. They also collect any lost or wandering souls they come across.
Fun Fact: Sometimes more powerful demons use Pudgezillas by having them collect souls for them and/or serving as a kind of portable storage.
Now to ramble about some of their physical characteristics, most of which you can’t tell because they’re cut off in the picture. :[
Pudgzillas have no neck. Their lower jaw takes the place of the sternum and is connected to the ribcage. Their lower jaw is immobile but their beak-like upper jaw can open upward.
They have three eyes; two on each side of their head and one in their forehead, and come in varying shades of green (an extremely unnatural color for the world they live in) with a black sclera. Their soft skin is unusually pale with varying hues of color while their harder skulls are usually darker in color.
They have no hands. Instead they have armored spikes for lower arms. Any manipulation they do is with their head tails or their actual tails. Their normal tail splits in two in the middle.
As for their feet and legs I’m still working on that. They will probably be plantigrade and with talons…
I also think there wouldn't be much of a difference between the genders.
And I typed too much for something that you can’t see the whole body of, bleh…

Also, I did get a new tablet. I used some of the software that came with it to draw this (Corel Painter Sketch Pad.) Gives images a nice traditional look.
