The one and only Lord of Kerahming, Kassimor Maximus. Entrusted with the life and love of Nisheena, only for it to be taken away from him, rules with a gentle iron fist. Keeping all enemies at bay whilst protecting his own people in the land of Norrchal.

why's he wearing a skirt and a dress respectively though?
not that i'm complaining, mind you, he looks quite good in either
i'm just curious in general. is it a personal choice of him to dress like that or is it generally quite fashionable in Norrchal for men to be wearing skirts and dresses?

Flashy, stylish, practical, and damn appealing for the eyes. The black leather the standard uniform for the Lord. ;>

His dress is more casual stuff. He likes flowy stuff. He tailored the dress, as well as Nisheenas purple robe himself! :)
Norrchal is not that large of a country, but the men in the small villages scattered around wear baggy trousers, skirts, robes, or dresses. Pocket space is almost a necessity in their cold and harsh land. Need to bring lots of supplies when traversing the frozen landscape.
There are no roads in Norrchal, as per the instructions from the first Lord of Kerahming. He decided it would be best to let the snow cover the whole land as a tactic against invaders. Only the current magistrate and the current Lord knows how to navigate all of Norrchal through hidden means that I cannot spoil here!!

at least he's gonna look till his son's old enough to kill him for succession... quite the grim ritual of succession too. must make family gatherings and dinners awkward "hey dad, happy birthday! hope you're well so i can kill you tomorrow!"

The Maximus family was not the first. There have been 16 other families that was before they were in power. But now the Maximus have reigned for a long time time. A lord is traditionally a title you claim in blood. But there have been instances where the Lord steps down. That puts even more pressure on the newly appointed Lord. To have recieved the throne of Kerahming without killing the former is a sign of weakness and lack of strength.

really? I mean he's got red eyes and an overall pale color complexsion... then again I suppose vampires do come in all sorts of flavors nowadays...
heck, a couple of years back, there was a time where, for some strange reason which will be forever remain a mystery of the universe, the general concept seemed to be that vampires had sparkling skin... no idea what kind of moron would come up with something that stupid... let alone what kind of idiot would be dumb enough to actually believe in that sort of nonsense
