Ayy, new ID! Haven't drawn my sona in ages, so I had to rectify that.
First time messing around in Clip Studio. If you're coming from Photoshop like I am, it's actually pretty easy to adjust to. There's obviously some setup you have to do, but it's not too hard.
And the main reason I might end up jumping ship is because of Frenden's brushes. Don't think I'll ever use any others.

i thought about picking up frenden's brushes the other day, but i dunno if there's one in there that does the sort of inkbrush effect that i was looking for (if you've ever looked at dagasi's linework, or hell it looks like you did it a little bit here as well, i basically mean that weird variance in linewidth where it's not exactly perfect and uneven. if you have no clue what im talking about -> https://i.imgur.com/qXmnM9M.png)
Hmm, well that's just pen pressure yeah? I try and vary the line weight based on what's in light/shadow. But I think I know what you mean, I was using a really stiff, angular brush. There's literally 212 (I just counted) different inkers with all sorts of different shapes and properties, so I'm sure you'd be able to find something that does what you're looking for.
Currently I'm taking huge inspiration from
Coyorean's art. (He uses Frenden's too!) It's really helping me to try and get looser with my inking. Maybe his stuff has some of what you're looking for too.

maybe so, comic-styled art with interesting inkwork and heavy black areas has always been interesting to me. anyway after seeing this piece of yours i went ahead and bought frenden's brushpack, so i'll have to start experimenting with them once dragon quest 11 comes out (since i set aside some off time to play that and draw a few of the new monster designs from it) thanks a bunch for the tip!
