DonΒ΄t know for sure. But one thing is fore sure. In regards of cover are the Cops definitly in a better position, the other two could get shot rather quickly since they are out in the open. But the next pages gladly leave to your plot. I like how this Comic is going so far and canΒ΄t wait to see more of it. o3o
I am sorry to say this, but I can not manage a P99 in any of the Guns the criminals wield. The one held by the guy in the front looks like a Makarov to me, the other one could be a 1911 or something related in appearence.
But in the end, a 9mm Makarov goes through such a door as lightly as a 9mm Parabellum. So I absolutely agree with you.

Reading it made my day and made me forget about the stress of getting back to school tomorrow <3
i'm so happy you manage to get this big project out !
And so far i can tell that is my type of story and the art style is awesome : it's like ready a Blacksad , i like to read it over and over to spot every little details in the art, always discovering new things making it even better than the first read <3
can't wait to read more !

Ahhh, I am so glad i could take a little stress off your shoulders! :)
I wish I could work on this in such deatils as blacksad x_x I really love that series and the artwork is amazing there! I love hiding little things in panels and I love reading comics that present detailed artworks as well as a carefully crafter story :) So I try to make mine like it too! :D
I'm a bit stressed about the later parts, but I am glad you enojoy it so far! :D (I am partcularily afraid of working on the adult scenes now XD)

I could be wrong but it's a small panel and showing his arms fully extended would have easily taken the gun out of the panel, so the artist might have just drawn half way into a shooting pose transition to account for that. To me at least, it looks like he's half way into raising his weapon.
Second response because edit window closed for my first comment.
It's also worth noting the comic is set in Australia, Sydney specifically. The police there use .40 chambered sidearms. .40 kicks heavier than a 9mm but it's still perfectly controllable for an experienced shooter, that stance wouldn't be much of a danger to one's self.
Also on a side note, sorry if this comes across as overly blunt, just trying to have a conversation, not be condescending about it or anything.

Oh gosh, thanks for the analisys :O I actually didn't give it as much thought and I definitely am not aiming for this comic to be semi-realistic (furries being giant human-animals walking around and talking etc xD) and I have no idea what kind of firearms are used in Australia T_T I just drew random guns I found on the internet haha XD I am certainly no gun expert :) But thanks for letting me know, maybe I can look them up and see how they would properly look like :)
But yes, you are right, it's hard to fit the gun in a panel of this shape and size to be able to fit in the face of the shooter! Luckily the internet provides a lot of shooting stance photos and I used one of them as reference :)

I just wanted to clear up some misconceptions, that's all! I was honestly worried I was making too many presumptions on why that panel was the way it was.
If you're interested in what they use for the future, the New South Whales Police Force uses the Glock 22, with the 23 and 27 models used by undercover units! Granted, I'm a US citizen so I can only speak from information I find online about their arms, but that's what I found when I was double checking for the conversation.
Over all though, the stance is just fine, even if it was his firing position. Nothing is ever optimal when guns get drawn (heh), after all.
Anyway, enjoying the comic so far! Really interested in seeing where this goes x3

The species is wolverine ;) I only can say that I have absolutely no experience with guns, I live in Poland where all guns are prohibited, so I can't really tell how to hold a gun. So I used photo references for the pose and the pose was exactly as I drew it casue I didn't want to pretend I know how people held guns :D And looking for a pose that would fit in a vertical panel like this was really hard too x_x
Only the armed forces and the armyare allowed to carry firearms here ^^" Also lawyers and other people who might need them, but they need a special allowance for that. And well... Shooting ranges aren't exactly popular here. I've been to one only once in my life and it's definitely not a place where you can learn a lot XD"
Oh no, I don't want to be demotivating! If anything I would encourage working on your comic! :O It's amazing fun and I bet all of us can make tremendous progress when working on it! Backgrounds, expressions, dynamic poses, it's all worth it and it's worth trying! \o/ I wish you luck with your project too!
I will give it a read when I have the time too! \o/

I have goals setup on Patreon where I can guarantee a certain amount of pages monthly :) For now I am trying to devote as much time as I can to develop a decent plot and draw it out. But ofc the more interest I get the more pages I will be able to create, casue I won't need to take commissions so much :)
I am working on it! The first tome is all written, most dialogues are ready and the whole first chapter is panel-ready. I put away this project put of fear of failure but I recently found new strength to carry it out. So it's definitely going to be continued. I hope very soon!
Thanks!!! Ahh it remains to be explained! I truly believe I will be able to show the story in the comic :) it's a little secret until then β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ but I'm really glad you got into it and this also gives me wings and motivation to finally put it out there!
