Yep thats the idea, I love the almost ghostly pale look when done right, makes her look like a doll
Its pretty hard though, I always struggly when coloring because there is so little variation, it looks really bad until I start to play with shadows and lighting

I always wonder how you get ideas for such intricate designs and hair styles. It's always very subtle but interesting to look at when you take the time and at no point busies or distracts the image. Beautiful work as always!

Nowadays that doesnt really apply since most of what I do is just ffxiv characters or existing characters from games/anime, so I only do some subtle changes to hairstyles and add my own clothing once in a while to give it my own touch but thats about it

So yeah, all pretty old stuff, you can find more around 2013-2015 if you wanna look for them, but nowadays I always have too many commissions to do so whenever I draw for myself I just do either my character here, or a fan art of some character I like from a game or whatever

I've often commissioned people for their OC before just to give them a break from commissions and I feel in may do the same for you in the future. Your OCs are pretty wonderful and you are right, you have a real eye for detail that probably flourished when left to your own devices. Thank you for showing me these. Your OCs are pretty heavily buried in your gallery. :0
