Lady Arceus is something of a phantom fighter in the Pits. It's known she is the leader of a very powerful group of legendary warriors, but seeing her fight is exceedingly rare, and as a result, no one is sure of her abilities.

Phoenix had been making a name for herself, but she was still a solo fighter and other groups were eager to scoop her up, but none of them promised the usage of her full abilities.

Until one night, she was invited to a private ring by Lady Arceus herself. She had a couple of bouncers around her, but they were not nearly as intimidating as her. Phoenix was interested, the tale of Lady Arceus enough to intrigue anyone, but here before Phoenix was her chance to see if she was the real deal.

A private fight to gauge the myth.

While Phoenix held nothing back, Lady Arceus seemed to flow like the tide and hit harder than a crashing wave. The techniques this living myth used were different, so unique and mysterious that withstanding them was near impossible, much less reversing them. Phoenix wasn't one to quit, however, and pressured on.

She managed to get her opponent into the air, a place Phoenix thought she would have an advantage, but before she knew what happened, a new technique was placed on her that wrenched her entire body at once, instantly rendering her completely unable to fight on.

Hours later, she awoke in the ring all alone, a single card with a phone number on it. Moreso, Phoenix realized that the technique that was used on her wasn't even the full move, yet the fighter that performed it was nowhere to be seen.

Truly a myth to behold.
