The Ensemble Dark-Bear vs. the Gunslinging Gator
Hey there folks, those Venture Brothers fans among you oughta recognize who Alistair's planning to capture today. Drawn by the skilled https://www.deviantart.com/chchcartoons here Alistair Garth and Winston Pike are in the middle of capturing one spooky-ass bear.
~
Oh bother.
Winnie the Pooh this wasn't, what would drive a man to put on a bear costume and stab a shitload of people to death I don't know, nor do I want to honestly.
The maniac known as the Scare Bear was viewed as a loose cannon even by the Guild of Calaminus Intent...still, the guy wasn't really breaking too many of their rules...aside from the part about not killing innocents, which was probably why they never let him in to begin with. They let him hang around though, because to be honest the OSI didn't need to know they weren't employing him. They weren't about to tell him not to hang around anyways, he was...useful.
However, after a few too many slaughterings, various parents who lost their loved ones (rich or otherwise) pooled their money together in hopes that one day they too would be avenged when someone collected the bounty they'd placed. And most people from their reality were not particularly able to.
From another reality, Alistair Garth was more than willing to take up the job, and he brought along his valet, Winston Pike.
Now the Venture Brothers reality was much less surreal than his own reality, so a humanoid alligator is bound to draw a lot of attention, including from some dickhead calling himself the Monarch, who Alistair warded off by smashing his armor with his teeth alone.
Though Winston was quite disturbed by that weirdo's dart guns, as he was fairly certain the darts they shot were poisonous.
So aside from run ins with some big bald guy named Wide Whale, like that was a subtle name at all when dealing with a whale/human hybrid. The duo didn't have any real trouble on this visit of Alistair's to this world.
And then they tracked down the Scare Bear to an abandoned old shack, where he was merely resting after running into another victim.
And a big, terrible fight did ensue. Alistair soon realized why the Phantom Limb (whom he'd once fought to a standstill) was so scared of this guy, not that he didn't face off against the surprisingly sturdy serial butcher.
Winston did his part too, and excellently, but not as well as he'd have personally liked. Still, aside from a few cuts he came out okay.
So the placers of the bounty were amazed to see someone not only collected, but hauled the Sacre Bear off to the police with the crazy bastard strapped to the hood of his valet's car.
