Four calling birds, on the fourth day of Christmas!
Ok- So, I'm on the east coast of the US, and I usually upload these at like, 10 pm the day before, so that they'll be available the whole day. But I didn't finish this one, and it was a bit ambitious, so I had to stay up all night just to get it done, and now as I'm posting this it's 7:30 AM. I'm sorry- I hope it still finds you guys well, and you enjoy it! I fucking made certain not to halfass it even though i didn't sleep a wink
Oh- And fun fact, those birds are blackbirds. Because in the song, "calling bird" is an evolution of the original lyric, "colly birds", an obsolete name for blackbirds.
And, just in case you can't read the text, first dialogue panel Carla's going like "Hold on a moment...four days, but I only just ate three birds. Where's the-" and then she gets cut off by "WAIT WAIT WAIT", then the bird as she's running towards her yells "WAIT! Don't leave me out of this! THIS IS MY FETISH!!!" and then she swan dives into Carla's maw and she's like "GLK!" as in a choking sound effect. Then she thinks, in a thought bubble, 'cause her mouth is full, "Aw, what a sweet girl...literally." ...Badum-tss. I know I'm a comedy master.
