Epic indeed. As the "aspiring knight" he plays quite the pivotal role as he hones his talents on this dire mission King Avis has bestowed upon both himself and Ham-Ham.

Let's also not forget part aspiring knight, up-and-coming swordsman, and all-around great guy. :)

Needless to say, how could Ham-Ham pass up the opportunity to train such a vessel of potential? What's not to like *shrugs* right?

Ham-Ham's character, based on the original Creative Campaign is very seasoned and well versed in battle strategies and diplomatic etiquette. Hex, on the other hand, is the equivelent of a lad fresh out of college who is eager to see just how far he can go with the talents that he has been afforded.

As a "Star Wars" fan, I can't help but relate this fun situation to Obi-Wan taking young Anakin under his wing. Sometimes there's just something about someone that inspires you to want to put all your effort into ensuring the next generation turns out even better than you ever did. In Ham-Ham's case, she has many reasons for hoping Hex becomes a positive image for the Bennets in comparison to her and Avis', how we say, killer reputations. :)
