I struggle with scenery and action, and I also don't like to give the plot away by showing too many specific scenes, so I tend to stick to characters posing about like models.
It's OK, if I didn't beat myself up, I would rest on my laurels. Remaining dissatisfied drives me on and then fans may benefit from better art and books.

I don't think thats a bad thing, necessarily, you're avoiding spoilers which is to everyones benefit, and we, the viewers, also get to see hunky men showing off their muscles. Win-win :D
