Chiptune - Deep Labyrinth - To the Labyrinth (MMC5)
Sure, Deep Labyrinth may not be thought of as the best video game today, but it has the distinction of being the first fully 3D cell phone game when it was released back in 2004. Its story was written by Masato Kato, many of whose other game stories I've liked. But the thing that stands most is its soundtrack by Yasunori Mitsuda. The game was rereleased in 2006 for Nintendo DS, but by then had already not aged well, except for the music.
