I know the summer has passed and the whole news event over the passing of MJ has all finally settled down for the most part. But I was thankful that Anbx allowed me to commission him to do this picture for me.
I know there is a wild assortment of mixed feelings about MJ and there always will be. I grew up in the 80s and no one can deny he dominated the music charts during this decade. I never even knew that before he was a solo star Michael Jackson that had started out singing in the Jackson 5. I knew little about MJ but he did have a talent for delivering good music. Even today it just seems the iconic dances for "Smooth Criminal" & "Thriller" will never be forgotten, and of course the moonwalk as well.
Music and media of the 80s made up most of my early days and when MJ went it was like losing part of your childhood, the best way I can word it. Perhaps asking those who grew up just as Elvis was big, I wonder if they too felt that odd feeling the day they noticed the King pass as I now worded it.
Granted MJ was far from a person that fell into the norm of society, as his later years proved. His unusual behavior and actions were hard to follow or believe. But as an artist, he was undeniably one of the best. Good or bad, I just show my respect for what good he did bring and try to share with everyone during his life. I won't praise him like some lifelong fan, but I will respect him for pushing out some wonderful hits and music that has helped evolve music to today‘s generation.
And I am sure some might recall an older game called “Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2”, where he is a secret playable boxing character. That game contributed to the idea for this picture’s layout. Go on down and YOUTUBE it if you feel curious enough to.
On the last note, as I mentioned above, there is a wide assortment of feelings toward MJ. And granted, we all are entitled to our own opinions. But please be respectful and refrain from throwing up negative or mean comments. This picture is not meant to upset anyone.

Ah, well Green used to be a grappler/wrestler before going full on with boxing and brawling. She still has her basic knowledge and such with the grappling. But when it comes to bouts nowadays she sticks to it being pure punching only in boxing bouts.
And as for me, I have been well, just working a good bit lately. Hope things been more easy going for you.

If you love Michael Jackson, get the game, I love Michael Jackson, and I got it, was it a bad idea, not really, it does get boring though. It's for PS2 and you can find it either online or at a local game store (Not a gamestop or anything like that, like a little store locally around, that's where I got mine.)
I think a lot of the time he was just misunderstood really. Someone once said "Humanity can be quite cold to those whose eyes see the world differently." (I forget who that was though!). And as someone who sees the world differently myself, I would say that's true.
Still, whatever anyone thought about the man himself, no-one can deny he made great music. And I think that along with Elvis and The Beatles, people will still be listening to his music years in the future when we're all going around in flying cars. (Or when we're all sitting in cardboard city listening to a scratched CD on an ancient faulty hi-fi system wired up to a solar panel after society just got too greedy, lol)
Is that a new outfit Greenie is wearing by the way? Love the green/black combination there

I agree, as a human being he was quite different and misunderstood during his time on Earth. However, as an artist, he was something you couldnt deny for being great and revolutionary to pushing music into a new direction.
And yes, this is Greenie's traditional boxing outfit, for those who are squeemish about her toplessness.

Great stuff
Is sad how nowadays most have never heard of or seen this zany but ultimately fun boxing game. It's colorful and diverse cast with some cool special cameo characters just makes it all the harder to ever forget it once you've played. Good stuff, just stinks it might fade into memory.

That just looked atrocious....
It was like Atari wanted to make a bad game and kill that franchise. I mean if the older game wasn't broken, why try to fix or sink it? They wiped out all the memorable characters, got crappier graphics and just didn't seem to give two shakes of a dead man's bum about it living up to anything more than a flop.
Real shame.... seriously...
