just kinda winged it, bought some fleece at jo anns got the fur off of the fursuit auctions on LJ. drew up some paw pads cut them out sewed them on trimmed them up and sew it all together. ^.^

That wasn't very kind. If you look at the products this website offers, you'll find their products to look quite different from these that Nevask made. It's not an original idea, of course. But she's not claiming to make something that she bought. Look at the pawpads, for starters. Big difference.

Many people make paw warmers after seeing pawstar. Heck, I've even thought of making myself a pair.

I see no neon purple pawprint anywhere on this. Look at those paws! The pink and black...Pawstar doesn't offer these color combinations. They sell no such thing. Its quite clear to me that Nevask made these herself. I have no doubt in that. Just because she didn't come up with the idea herself, doesn't mean she is claiming the product itself as her own work and creation. She admitted that it's not her idea. Everyone knows its not her idea. But these particular warmers were indeed made by her hard work.
