Seriously though, that phrase annoys me, because most things can be quickly summarized in about that same time it took to say that there wasn't time. And quite frankly, I really doubt that at any time, any where, throughout the history of mankind has anyone ever used that phrase in real life.

Actually, that is part of the joke. There IS time to explain, but Electra is sure Lolly will chicken out if she finds out before they get there.
