Heads up: This is a GT/ MxM/ Muscle Growth story!
Vanguard G - Kazuma/Chrono belong to Bushiroad.
“Don’t move!!!”
Kazuma shouted out, raising his head marginally off Chrono, so that his words wouldn’t get muffled out by the red heads new muscle mass.
“You keep saying that, why?”
“What do you mean, why? Isn’t it obvious…?”
“Apparently not, what is your problem all of a sudden?”
The red head retorted back, tilting his head round the best he could to get a better angle without actually doing any of this sudden sinful movement.
“Chrono, look at us and tell me where the problem is?”
“The problem? That the planet has now become a park bench and somehow we’re still breathing fine?”
“That is a…actually a good point…” Kazuma heavily sighed as he shook his head side to side, “but not the problem, I was getting at…”
“Then tell me! It’s only us now, so now would be a bad time to fall out!”
“Doubt that, quite sure most the planet could make out this conversation if they really wanted to…but that is the problem, our size…”
“Run that by me again?” Chrono queried with a quirked brow.
“Chrono you idiot, if you move now, you could easily trigger an earthquake or tsunami on any of the surrounding land, move too fast and you’ve as good as submerged them!”
The dark haired teen snapped back frustrated, pointing at the water’s surface just to make a point. The planets seas and oceans, a source of unknown depth and territory, were currently no different or no more extravagant than sitting in the toddler training pool, they were now that shallow they barely covered anything.
“I am not an idi…oh…well, I’m going to take that chance and we can’t stay sitting here like this! I’ll show you that it’ll work out fine!”
“Chrono don’t be stupid! Think this through, you’re being reckless again!”
“Me? You’re one to talk, I could easily list off all the reckless things you’ve done over the last couple of years!”
“Never said I wasn’t but none of that has ever put millions of people’s lives at risk!”
As the pair continued neither missing a beat, until an awkward silence fell over the duo and a look from Chrono, that suggested he had something to say, it was on the tip of his tongue but even he was aware enough to know it wasn’t a wise thing to call out. As Kazuma simply returned the look with a stern gaze, he had a feeling he knew what was about to be said but at this point he was practically daring him to come out and say it.
“Say it!”
“…No… it’s too far”
“Clearly it isn’t otherwise you wouldn’t have thought of it! Now…Spit…It…Out!!”
“Mmm…Fine! What about Gyze!?”
The red haired firmly shouted back as he watched Kazuma recoil still, despite what he had said as the dark haired giant bit his lower lip and looked away. The pair had separated during the arguing to get a proper look at each other, without either realising until Kazuma threw his caution and sudden moral code into the darkness of space as he leapt at Chrono, punching him in the face as he tackled him back to the ground, landing with a loud echoing bang.
“You ungrateful….! I did that for you! To keep you safe!”
Kazuma snarled as he went in for yet another punch towards Chrono’s face as he dug his knees into the red heads sides, in an attempt to get the red head to lower his guard he had put up; it may have been a stunt from a show he had seen but it may just work.
“I never asked you to…! We could have found another way!”
“We were out of time, your crest was complete and they were coming for you! I couldn’t…I wouldn’t let them have you…”
“That isn’t fair!”
Yelled Chrono as he held back Kazuma’s next approaching punch with difficulty, while just about managing to nudge it far enough to the side so that he could get up and punch the dark haired teen in the return, followed by a swift head butt once the weight was removed from his body by Kazuma stumbling backwards back into the ocean waters.
“We could have tried to wait it out, there were only three apostles left!” Chrono continued through deep breaths,
“What makes you think I would ever let them take you either!? I don’t care about the millions of others, they may have benefitted but only one person mattered to me from those millions!”
“Don’t give me that, that the whole response stemmed from a guilty conscience… over the fact that someone else took the bullet for you and you just needed to go back out and play hero again!”
Exclaimed Kazuma sternly, even though he was now looking away, unable to keep his eye contact with Chrono any longer. This argument really had gone too far, opening back up the wounds and mental scars that had never really healed afterwards and now he was trying to push away the one person who made all the difference to him like an idiot just because he was too stubborn to just let it slide.
“NO! You listen and listen well this time! The person I had been fighting so hard for was you Kazuma!!! You’re the reason I could keep going, I had to believe that we would win, that I would be able to see you again, that we would be able to do stupid things together again!”
Cried Chrono as he sat back, bringing his knees to his chest, while resting his forehead on his arms as the two simply sat there in silence for what felt like eternity.
“Chrono…”
Kazuma muttered as he glanced over at the red head who was still yet to move before sighing heavily as the dark haired teen slowly got to his feet and walked over, his brain and sense of logic switching off to the idea on trying to figure out how any of that was even possible; not when more pressing matters needed addressing first.
“Here…” Kazuma started, holding out his hand, “I’m…sorry…that was too far…”
The dark haired teen continued as he crouched down slightly so that he was at a more comfortable angle to offer Chrono his hand as he rested his spare hand on his knee.
Hesitantly looking up, Chrono followed the hand up the arm and from the shoulder to the face of Kazuma who looked regretful, sad and almost fearful; was he afraid of being left alone again after all this time to?
“I’m sorry to… I didn’t mean for it to go that far… I know it is still a difficult topic for you…”
“Forget it… we both messed up just now…”
“Heh… we really are the kings of screwing up and bad decisions…”
“Considering the current state…deities of screwing up and bad decisions sounds more accurate”
Kazuma finally smirked back, which in return caused Chrono to crack a smile of his own and eventually a small chuckle as he grabbed the stretched out hand and got back to his feet, interlocking their fingers and making sure to get in close as he leaned in towards the dark haired teen
“Heh… really isn’t a lot you can do when you’re the size of a planet is there…”
“Pretty sure fighting across a third of the globe was more than enough for those microscopic’s at least…
“…but are we good?”
“Were good swirly head, besides… ” Kazuma started, pulling Chrono in close into a tight hug “out of the millions of people, you’re the most important person to me to…”
