rocksteady that was slow in the making, but finally done (As in 3 weeks later and I finally get the motivation to do this in a day. I amaze myself sometimes).
Truth be told, I never owned a Sega Genesis, given the fact I didn't invest much into the 16-bit era until I was much older. As such, I still haven't played Ristar, though I understand it's apparently legendary on the console. I think I'll give it a shot, given how much I enjoy the soundtrack to it.
Anyway, when I really got into making this song, the first thing that baffled me was the number of instruments I used to make the song. Given this is a Genesis game and the sound hardware for the Genesis is inferior to the SNES, I was still amazed to see I had nearly as many instruments for this song as I had in some of my other SNES arrangements. I used 10 in all, 3 of which were exclusively to the ocarina and flutes. A bit time consuming, but all the while rewarding.
I hope you guys all enjoy this
