wonderful job, im glad to see it turned out the way it did. i peeked at the WIP screenshot and it was suprising to see 5-6am on your clock haha, must be a late sleeper :P

Thank you for your nice comment! Yep, I didn't get to bed till 8. :P It was one of those "I AM INSPIRED, MUST DRAW MUST DRAW MUST DRAW" nights, hehe.
I don't think the mood would have worked out so well if it wasn't for the purple glow in the picture. It really makes a great difference. :)

oh dont worry, i have spent a fair few hours from time to time after work (i get "home" around 2-3am) up and under the glow of a lamp, penciling away at doodles and sketches that i still owe a few people. its difficult, wanting to go to bed but be so inspired that you just keep going lol.
yes, the colors do flow rather well with how the mood sets itself. i particularly am drawn towards her expression most of all, the very set gaze at the viewer. its a very well done icon :)
