Sorry for the lack of activity on DA and FA. This year has been hectic and I just haven't felt up to checking through every single account I have. I'm trying to keep things easy on myself right now, but I'll be hopefully able to pay more attention to these accounts soon.
Wanted to try something different for fun and ended spending a bit of time on it. Made a really simple brush that’s just got minimal scattering and it ended up working out really nice for figuring out values and textures.
Simple, but fun and relaxing. It’s been a long while since i just built up random colors into something. Overall I’m happy since it’s genuinely pleasing to my eyes now that i’m not straining them.

Just want to say, I love this unique color combo! All the colors are bright, yet it's still fun to look at - probably because your eyes have somewhere to rest with those lovely dark purples and blues. And I love the green drool for contrast!
Also I don't really know what it is, but I am drawn to those stars in the corner. They're just so peaceful and quiet compared to the monster and it adds a nice balance!
