Here's the look for Kaiyou Dachi. Yes, she was the mermaid that married Shinju Dachi and was the first Empress of the kingdom when it became one.

She lived in area of Kaiyou far longer then Shinju did. It was her tribes home. But all of them, except her, seemed to have vanished. She mostly lived in the Crystal Caverns as a Priestess before Shinju and his group came. She was quite talented in magic, very wise and those markings were there when she was born. It was common in her tribe to have them.

Kaiyou was closed off before meeting Shinju, but he helped her to open up again. As she is still a kind, wise, and selfless mermaid. Although she was a private mermaid. Not telling people certain things and when upset, she would clam up.
