A collaboration between myself and the amazing 
MechanicalStar in a program called Drawpile.
Notably not my favourite program but it's super cool that you can live draw with someone else. (So if any of you artists have any suggestions on better live collaborative programs let me know!)
My character being Hara (The wasp on the right) Mech drawing the mantis (Guess he didn't have a name for him. We'll can him Chad).
Anyway it was real fun doing this and hope do do another soon!

Ah yes. Those three dots are known as ocelli my friend. Simple photo-receptors like stand alone cells of a compound eye. A Common trait among wasps and similar insects. Not that they can make any image out of the information it collects, rather it's just to detect movement where they otherwise would have no field of view. It's pretty interesting stuff!
