Dinide is a 200 year old Protogen designed for diving and aquatic planet exploration. While they are occasionally called into service, for the most part they serve as a life guard on an Earth beach and have since their 150th year. While they do not have a gender, they refer to themselves with male pronouns.

Years of exploring the deep sea with few incidents has resulted in a very relaxed personality and life style.

Their flotation devices can expand to 5 times the size with a highly buoyant gas, allowing for them to be virtually unsinkable or allow quick resurfaces.
