One of the Summertime oddjobs that Kentaro takes on when the dojo is closed is as a beach lifeguard. While there are some beefy lifeguards who'd rather show off for the ladies, Kentaro takes this very seriously, and has managed to save plenty of lives. It helps that, being a tiger, he's an excellent swimmer. Though, he's a bit wary of those who fake their peril just to get his attention. One person in particular comes to mind, but he never faults this person, lest he end up in the doghouse.
