To go with the silly post-apoc goggles, I also made myself a wrench thing. I realize everyone's painting Nerfguns for the con, but I figured I'd buck the trend a bit; No gun. Wanted some kinda silly raider article, but I wanted to make it so over the top it would have a hard time being mistaken for a real weapon. This thing is rather large, and if it were actually metal, would probably weigh a good ten or fifteen kilograms. Because it's made entirely out of painted styrofoam packaging scraps and a strip of bandage-gauze, it weighs maybe an ounce. Thirty grams or so.
